There is good news for a handful of people who own a Ferrari_La Ferrari or a La Ferrari Aperta, and have actually driven both super cars.
The manufacturer of wild horses recently offered a new extended warranty and scheduled maintenance service for the vehicle.
This is the first time the brand has offered something like this for a special Limited Series model. Ferrari calls this offering the La Ferrari Power.
The extended warranty and maintenance program is a two-year renewable program for each year the super car is produced.
Owners can purchase the La Ferrari Power software from any authorized Ferrari dealer.
La Ferrari’s power program includes annual scheduled maintenance from trained technicians at Maranello, Ferrari’s home. Warranty coverage even on HY-KERS systems and high voltage batteries.
The Ferrari manufacturer itself introduced the La Ferrari in March 2013 as the brand’s first hybrid model.
The power train is a 6,262 cc V12 that is electrically assisted and can produce a total of 950 hp (708 kW).
The company claims that its performance is capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in under three seconds.
Next, 124 mph (200 km/h) in under seven seconds, and 186 mph (300 km/h) in 15 seconds.
Initially, Ferrari planned to build 499 La Ferrari units. However, the Italian company added the 500th unit.
It was then auctioned for the benefit of charities to help earthquake victims in Italy. This particular car sold for US$7 million (about 100 billion rupees at current exchange rates).
In the past year or so, there have been several spy shots or leaked photos of Ferrari testing a modified La Ferrari.
Speculation is that the concept was used to develop a new car in the La Ferrari Icona lineup or the brand’s next generation supercar.
They featured an overhauled rear end with different air intakes on the rear fenders, a revised tailgate, and a center exhaust.
If it turns out to be the new La Ferrari Icona, rumors have it that the car will debut in November 2021.The model is said to feature an exterior design inspired by the 330 P4 race car from 1967.
